St. Thomas Police Service media release for Friday December 22nd, 2023

On the 21st day of December 2023 St. Thomas Police Service attended a Talbot Street residence for a break and enter with the suspect in the residence.  Upon arrival the suspect had fled the scene, a Canine track was conducted and as a result a 38 year old St. Thomas man was arrested and charged with break and enter.  The male was process and later released on a future court date.  All the property was returned to the victim.  ST23022303.

On the 21st day of December 2023 police attended a Nolan Street address for a vehicle entry.  The victim observed a female inside the vehicle.  The suspect fled the scene prior to police arrival.  ST23022307.

The St. Thomas Police Service has been investigating several thefts of packages from residences throughout the city.  On the 21st day of December 2023 a 28 year old London man was charged with two counts of theft and released on a future court date.  ST23022332.

On the 21st day of December 2023 St. Thomas Police officers were responding to an emergent call for service.  A fully marked police cruiser with lights and sirens activated went through the intersection of Talbot Street and First Avenue where it collided with a northbound vehicle.  As a result of the investigation a 53 year old St. Thomas man is charged with fail to stop on right for emergency vehicle and issued a provincial offences notice.  ST23022346.
