Drug Warrant and Seizure:
On the 22nd of December 2025 members of the St Thomas Police Service’s Street Crimes Unit and the CIRT team executed a search warrant under the Controlled Drugs and Substances Act at a residence in St Thomas. Police arrested a male and female located inside the residence and located fentanyl, cocaine, and prescription medication totaling $7463.00 in value. On searching the home officers located ammunition for a shotgun, as well as a flick knife and a suspected counterfeit $100.00 bill.
The 30-year-old male resident was charged with six counts of possession of a controlled substance for the purpose of trafficking, unauthorized possession of a weapon, possessing counterfeit money, and four counts of failure to comply with and undertaking. The male was held for court.
The 30-year-old female was not charged as part of the investigation however she was wanted on three warrants for break and enter and property crime offences by the Waterloo Regional Police Service – who attended to take custody of her from our station

68.8 grams of Cocaine;
2.1 grams of Fentanyl;
4x 80mg Oxycodone pills;
8x 5mg Percocet pills;
14x 150mg Pregabalin pills;
18 rounds of 12-gauge shotgun ammunition;
1 suspected counterfeit $100 bill;
2 functioning digital scales;
1 flick knife;
