Warrant Arrests, Suspicious Fires and Officer Assaulted
Suspicious Fires
Police continue to investigate after a string of fires were set over the past week. Late Thursday and into the early morning hours of Friday, officers investigated numerous suspicious fires in and around the CN Rail property, located at the north end of St. Catharine Street. Although the fires were small and easily extinguished, there is a concern that due to the materials stored in and around the property, damage and risk to the public is concerning. Numerous officers, including K9 have responded to the area and will continue to do so until the matter is resolved. Anyone with information about these fires is asked to contact the St. Thomas Police or Crime Stoppers. ST24003715
