Motor Vehicle Fail to Remain Collision:
On December 23, 2023 shortly before 6:00pm, Police responded to a motor vehicle collision on Talbot St, between First Ave and Burwell Rd. The collision involved a vehicle, striking two pedestrians. Witnesses on scene report a dark grey Jeep was turning onto Talbot St, westbound, when it struck two females on an electric scooter attempting to utilize the crosswalk. The two female were sent to hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
The dark grey Jeep continued west on Talbot St, before turning north onto First Ave, failing to remain at the scene of the collision.
