An alert citizen found a cell phone on Sunset Drive and notified the police. St. Thomas Police officers were able to find the rightful owner and return it to a very grateful person.
An unlocked vehicle was entered on Scott Street where suspects stole personal documents. This is under investigation. Ref# ST23009019.
St. Thomas Police officers attended the “Ride The Whistlestop” cycling event located at 460 Sunset Drive. This was a day of fun for the whole family which included a green screen photo booth, kids crafts, a presentation on bicycle history, as well as other cycling-related attractions, vendors & activities. A St. Thomas male is presently charged with two counts of assault after an overnight incident at a residence in the downtown area. Reasonable grounds exist for the arrest of this male. No serious injuries were sustained as a result of the assaults. Ref# ST23009067.
