Update (3/3) Arrest Made in Voyeurism Incident
The St. Thomas Police Service has made an arrest in connection with a voyeurism investigation that began in July.
On Friday July 12th, 2025, a female resident reported two suspicious encounters with an unknown male inside a local business. During the second interaction, the male was observed using his cell phone in an attempt to film up her dress.
Police released details of the incident on July 14th and subsequently shared images of the suspect on August 19th, requesting the public’s assistance in identifying him.
As a result of the investigation, on Thursday September 4th, 2025 police located and arrested 31 year old Charlie Thoms of Lincoln, Ontario. He has been charged with Voyeurism and Theft Under $5000.
The St. Thomas Police Service thanks members of the community for their assistance in this investigation.

St. Thomas, ON – Tuesday August 19th 2025
The St. Thomas Police Service is investigating the report of a suspicious incident that occurred on Saturday July 12th, 2025 at approximately 7:00 p.m. inside Walmart, located at 1063 Talbot Street.
Police are releasing images of the individual and are seeking the public’s assistance in identifying him.

On Friday evening we were contacted by a female resident who had two suspicious “run ins” with an unknown male in a local business. The male bumped into her twice and on the second occurrence she observed that he was using his cell phone in an attempt to film up her dress. The male is described as Caucasian, slim to medium build, having a long reddish beard, black framed glasses, and wearing grey shorts, a red and black baseball cap, and a grey t-shirt with an Ironman image on the front.
