Intimate Partner Violence
A 50 year old St. Thomas man has been arrested. On Tuesday evening, officers attended a southside address for the report of an argument between former spouses. Through investigation officers learned a verbal argument had escalated between the two resulting in a physical altercation. As a result, the accused was charged with one count of Assault and one count of Mischief. He was later released on an undertaking with a future court date. ST25019823
Warrant Arrest
A 41 year old St. Thomas woman has been arrested. On Tuesday evening, the individual attended police headquarters to turn herself in on an outstanding warrant for Operation while Impaired, Possession of Scheduled 1 Substance and Fail to Comply with Probation Order, stemming from an incident in May. Fraud
St. Thomas police are investigating the report of fraud. On Tuesday, the executor of an estate called police to report that a credit card in the name of the deceased individual who’s estate had been closed, had been opened and a statement of account was showing a significant balance owing. Theft
Copper pipe has been reported stolen from an exterior air conditioning unit on Centre Street. On Tuesday, police were called to the area to investigate the theft. It was reported that an unknown person had caused over $2,000 of damage to the property while stealing the copper. This remains under investigation. ST25019795
Fail to Comply
A 32 year old London man has been charged with three counts of Failure to Comply with Release Order after an investigation into unwanted communication. The accused had previously been released from custody with the condition of not communicating with the complainant. A warrant for his arrest has been requested. ST25019827
