Theft
A 40 year old St. Thomas resident has been charged with Theft under $5,000 after being identified as the person responsible for stealing a gaming laptop on Tuesday. A warrant for arrest has been requested. ST25018864
A vehicle parked on Isabel Street has been reported entered. On Tuesday, the owner contacted police to report their vehicle paperwork and miscellaneous items had been stolen. No damage to the vehicle was reported. ST25018877
Copper wire from an exterior air conditioning unit and two security cameras have been reported stolen. On Tuesday evening, police attended an address on Talbot Street to investigate the incident that occurred October 13th just before 11:00 p.m. This remains under investigation. ST25018896
A 46 year old St. Thomas resident has been arrested after we were called to the west end of the city on Tuesday evening. Just before 6 p.m. we were called to an address on Metcalfe Street to investigate the report of an unknown person stealing a packages that had been delivered. Upon arrival, officers located the 46 year old known to them still in the area with the packages. The individual was charged with two counts of Theft under $5,000, transported to police headquarters and held for a morning court appearance. ST25018900

A local resident is out $2400 after an online bank scam. On Tuesday, the victim attended police headquarters to report that their online banking had been compromised and several unauthorized transfers had been made to an unknown account. This remains under investigation. ST25018889
