Warrant Arrest

A 57 year old London resident has been arrested. On Tuesday November 19th 2024, St. Thomas police were contacted by London Police who had the individual in their custody on the strength of an outstanding warrant with our service. Officers attended LPS and took custody of the individual who was transported to STPS Headquarters where they were processed to attend court and subsequently released on an undertaking with a future court date. Mischief 

St. Thomas police are investigating the report of several vehicles being damaged while parked at the hospital. On Tuesday November 19th 2024, St. Thomas police were contacted by security staff who wish to report that in the overnight hours of November 9th, several vehicles had been keyed. CCTV is being reviewed as police continue to investigate. ST24021042

Theft 

A 33 year old London resident has been arrested. On Tuesday November 19th 2024, officers were called to a retail store on Talbot Street to investigate the report of shoplifting. Upon arrival, police learned an unknown individual attended the store and left with approximately $730 in merchandise they failed to pay for. Police attended the area and located the individual in the parking lot, in their vehicle with the stolen items. The 33 year old was charged with Theft under $5,000 and transported to police headquarters. Through further investigation, police learned the individual was a prohibited driver, currently suspended. They were additionally charged with two counts Operation while Prohibited and one count of Drive while Under Suspension. The 33 year old was processed and released on an undertaking with a future court date. ST24021048

Break and Enter 

St. Thomas police are currently investigating a break and enter incident that occurred in the overnight hours of November 18th. On November 19th, police were called to an address on Elm Street to investigate the report of an unknown individual gaining access to the building and causing damage to several rooms inside. This remains under investigation. ST24021059
