Arrested

A 30 year old St. Thomas resident has been arrested. On Tuesday May 30th, 2023 officers on community patrol were dealing with the 30 year old on an unrelated matter when they became aware of a warrant for Theft under $5000 in relation to an incident in 2022. The resident was transported to police headquarters to be processed for court, later remanded by the courts. ST23009227

A 47 year old St. Thomas resident has been arrested. The 47 year old attended police headquarters on Tuesday May 30th, 2023 to turn themselves in on an outstanding warrant for Operation while Impaired and several other charges from an incident in April 2023. The resident was processed and released on an appearance notice. ST23009234

Theft

A metal roof seamer has been stolen from a construction site on St. Catherine Street. On Tuesday May 30th, 2023 St. Thomas police were called to investigate the theft. It was reported that sometime between May 19th and May 22nd the metal roof seamer along with construction accessories were taken from the location. The replacement value of the property is over $24,000. Police are continuing to investigate. Vehicle Entry

A vehicle parked in a parking lot on Hincks Street has been reported enter. On Tuesday May 30th, 2023 just after 6 p.m. an unknown person entered the vehicle and stole a laptop. ST23009257
