Vehicle Entries 

A vehicle entry on St. Anne’s Place was reported to St. Thomas Police on Tuesday May 23rd, 2023. STPS were called to investigate after the owner reported their vehicle was entered sometime in the overnight hours. Stolen from the car was clothing, a lunch bag and a backpack. There was no damage to the vehicle. Police are continuing to investigate. ST23008743

A vehicle entry on St. George Street was reported to St. Thomas Police, just after midnight on Wednesday May 24th, 2023. STPS we called to investigate after the owner reported their vehicle has just been entered. Reported stolen was a wallet containing personal identification and bank cards. Police are reviewing video surveillance and continue to investigate. ST23008800

Criminal Harassment

A 36 year old St. Thomas resident has been charged with one count of Criminal Harassment after St. Thomas Police were called to investigate an incident that occurred on Tuesday May 23rd, 2023. Through investigation, police formed grounds to charge the accused. The 36 year old attended police headquarters where they were processed and released on an undertaking. ST23008769/ST23008797

Theft

Over $900 of various merchandise has been reported stolen from a retail store on Talbot Street. On Tuesday May 23rd, 2023 St. Thomas Police were called to investigate the theft. Through investigation it was learned that two suspects entered the store, proceeded to fill a cart with various items and then left the store making no attempt to pay. Police are reviewing the available video to identify the suspects. ST23008776

Arrested

A 40 year old St. Thomas resident has been arrested. The resident, wanted for one count of Failing to Comply was located after police responded to a call for an unwanted person. The 40 year old was taken into custody and transported to police headquarters where they were processed and released on an appearance notice. ST23008777/ST23008681

A 45 year old St. Thomas resident has been arrested by Woodstock Police. On Tuesday May 23rd 2023, STPS were contacted by WPS in regard to the 45 year old wanted by our service on an outstanding warrant for breaching their conditions. The 45 year old was transferred to St. Thomas police custody, transported to police headquarters and held for court. ST23008789
