On Tuesday February 28th 2023 St. Thomas Police were contacted by a local resident whose personal banking card had been used without his knowledge. It was reported that a purchase of approximately $400.00 was made at a local convenience store. Police are reviewing video surveillance and continuing their investigation. ST23003194
Dangerous Operation of a Motor Vehicle
On Tuesday February 28th 2023 St. Thomas Police were called to a Talbot Street business after a vehicle attempting to make a U-Turn ended up on its side in the business’ parking lot. Through investigation, a 48 year old St. Thomas man has been charged with 1 count of Dangerous Operation and 1 count of Drive with seat belt modified. ST23003196
Break and Enter
On Tuesday February 28th 2023 St. Thomas Police responded to a local storage facility to take the report of a suspected break and enter to a locked unit. Reported stolen is a Stanley Ratchet Set. Police are continuing their investigation, reviewing the video surveillance on site. ST23003202
Warrant Arrest
On Tuesday February 28th 2023, St. Thomas Police were able to locate and arrest 37 year old Ryan Youskow on the strength of his outstanding warrant for 1 count of Break and Enter and 1 count of Fail to Comply. Youskow was arrested without incident and transported to Police Headquarters to be processed. He was later released on an undertaking with conditions. ST23003205
Failure to Comply
On Tuesday February 28th 2023 St. Thomas Police had grounds to lay a charge on a 25 year old, Ontario man after investigating an allegation that he had communicated with his ex partner contrary to his release conditions. He has been charged with 1 count fail to comply with an undertaking. ST23003213
Bike Theft
On Tuesday February 28th 2023 around 6:00 PM, St. Thomas Police were called to take a report of a stolen adult tricycle. The tricycle was out of plain site and was locked. It is described as blue in colour with a white basket and yellow chain. On Wednesday March 1st 2023 around 4:30 AM St. Thomas Police were called to a Princess Ave address in regard to a theft that had occurred. Upon arrival and reviewing video surveillance, a 33 year old St. Thomas woman is now wanted for 1 count Theft under $5,000. ST23003247
