Drug Offences
Approximately $10,000 of illicit drugs have been taken off the streets and 28 year old St. Thomas resident has been arrested. This morning, at 1:00 a.m. officers were dealing with an individual known to them to be wanted on an outstanding warrant with our service for Possession of a Schedule Substance and Failure to Comply with Probation stemming from an incident in April. The individual was arrested on the strength of the warrant and transported to police headquarters to be processed. A search, incident to arrest found the 28 year old to be in possession of:
- 50 pills of 5mg Oxycodone, estimated street value of $350
- 5 grams of fentanyl, estimated street value of $7,800
- 6 grams of cocaine, estimated street value of $2,000.
- 7 grams of crystal methamphetamine, estimated street value of $370
Total value of approximately $10,520
As a result, the 28 year old St. Thomas resident has been charged with:
- Two counts of Failure to Comply with Probation Order
- Two counts of Adult Possession of a Schedule I substance for the purpose of trafficking – Opioid
- One count of Adult Possession of a Schedule I substance for the purpose of trafficking – Cocaine
- One count of Adult Possession of a Schedule I substance for the purpose of trafficking – Methamphetamine

Theft
St. Thomas police are currently seeking the public’s assistance in locating the wagon seen in this photo:
The wagon, used to transport a child with mobility limitations to school, was reported stolen from an address on Balaclava Street. Vehicle Entry
St. Thomas police are currently investigating a vehicle entry that occurred at approximately 4:00 a.m. this morning. It was reported that the window of a vehicle parked in the laneway of a home on the southside of the city, was smashed and the vehicle entered. Reported stolen was a wallet containing cash and all of the victims personal identification and bank cards. This remains under investigation. ST24009345
