Arson

A fire at an address on Ross Street has been deemed an arson. At 6:30 a.m. on Tuesday July 1st 2025, we were called to attend the area by St. Thomas Fire who were on scene of a structure fire. Through investigation, evidence of the fire being intentionally set was found. The building was unoccupied and no injuries were reported. The remains under investigation. ST25011380

Break and Enter 

A shipping container, located at a business in the industrial area has been reported entered. On Tuesday, we were called to the area by an individual who took notice of the container being open. CCTV was reviewed and captured two unknown individuals arrive to the area on bikes and gain access to the container. This remains under investigation. ST25011313

Theft

A yellow and blue bike trailer has been reported stolen from an address on Holland Street. Video surveillance in the area is being reviewed as we continue to investigate. ST25011335

An Amazon package valued at $70 has been reported stolen from an address on Forest Avenue. On Tuesday, we were called to the area after a home owner saw two individuals walking away with their delivery. The individuals had left the area prior to police arrival. ST25011393

Warrant Arrest 

A 34 year old St. Thomas resident has been arrested. While on an unrelated call for service, we located the individual known to be wanted on an outstanding probation warrant. The 34 year old was transported to police headquarters where they were processed and released with a future court date. ST25011417

RIDE

We are pleased to share that of the vehicles stopped and their drivers spoken to during a RIDE program in the city early Tuesday morning, no infractions were found. STPS wishes to thank the community for continuing to drive safe and sober.
