Assault with a Weapon

A 51 year old St. Thomas man has been arrested after police were called to a dispute between neighbours. On Tuesday evening, police were called to attend a southside address for the report of the accused throwing hot coffee on an neighbour after an argument between the two had escalated. Police located the parties involved and through investigation, charged the 51 year old with one count of Assault with a Weapon. He was transported to police headquarters, processed and later released on an undertaking with a future court date. ST26001472

Theft

$77 of grocery items have been reported stolen from a retail store on Talbot Street. On Tuesday afternoon, officers were called to investigate the report of an unknown male failing to pay for his items. Video of the incident has been provided to police. ST26001448

$15,000 of tools have been reported stolen. On Tuesday, police were called to investigate the report of a commercial vehicle being entered and the tools stolen. The theft had occurred on January 17th while the vehicle was parked at an address in the industrial area awaiting repairs. Video of the incident was captured and has been provided to police as this remains under investigation. ST26001455

Warrant Arrests

A 42 year old St. Thomas woman has been arrested. On Tuesday, officers were called to an address on west side of the city for the report of an individual out of control in the residence. Upon arrival, the accused, who was known to police to be wanted on an outstanding warrant for Assault Causing Bodily Harm stemming from an incident in December, was located and arrested. The 42 year old was transported to police headquarters where she was processed to attend court and was subsequently remanded into custody. ST26001439/1440/ST250223860

A 35 year old St. Thomas woman charged with numerous offences, has been arrested. Early Wednesday morning while on a unrelated call for service, officers located the individual who had been charged with Failure to Comply with Probation, Failure to Comply with Release Order, Theft under $5,000, Impaired Operation and Possession of a Controlled Substance in relation to separate incidents in November. The 35 year old was transported to police headquarters, processed and held to attend court. ST26001496

A 21 year old St. Thomas man has been arrested. On Tuesday, while at police headquarters on an unrelated matter the accused was made aware of an outstanding warrant for his arrest. He been charged with Failure to Comply with Probation Order in 2023. The 21 year old was processed and released on an appearance notice with a future court date. ST26001451/ST23019021

A 40 year old St. Thomas man has been arrested. Charged with two counts of Theft under $5,000 in relation to separate shoplifting incidents in 2025, the accused was located early this morning by officers on community patrol.
