A 31 year old St. Thomas resident has been arrested. On Monday November 18th 2024, officers on community patrol located the individual known to them to be wanted by our service for Theft under $5,000 after being identified as the person responsible in a shoplifting incident in October. The 31 year old was processed and released on an undertaking with a future court date. ST24020974
A 49 year old St. Thomas resident has been arrested. On Monday November 18th 2024, officers at the Elgin County Courthouse were dealing with the individual on an unrelated matter when they became aware of an outstanding warrant with our service for Possession of Schedule 1 Substance and Possession of Property Obtained by Crime, stemming from an incident in February. The individual was processed at courts and released with a future court date. ST24020981
A 40 year old St. Thomas resident has been arrested. On Monday November 18th 2024, the individual attended police headquarters to turn themselves in on an outstanding warrant with our service for Theft under $5,000, after being identified as the person responsible in a shoplifting in August. The 40 year old was processed and released on an undertaking with a future court date. ST24020982
A 47 year old St. Thomas resident has been arrested. On Monday November 18th 2024, officers were called to an address on Holland Street for the report an individual attempting to gain entry to a locked shed. Upon arrival, police located an individual known to them to be wanted on an outstanding warrant with service for five counts of Failure to Comply with Probation and one count Uttering Threats. The 47 year old was transported to police headquarters where they were processed to attend court and remanded into custody. ST24020983
An 18 year old St. Thomas has been arrested. On Monday evening, officers were called to an address on the northside of the city to investigate the report of the individual not adhering to their court ordered curfew. The individual was located this morning and has been charged with four counts of Failure to Comply with Sentence. Officers transported the 18 year old to police headquarters where they were processed to attend court. ST24021019/21026
