Mischief

St. Thomas police are currently investigating the report of a damage caused to vehicle. On Monday November 11th 2024, the vehicle owner contacted police to report that while parked at an address on Elm Street, their vehicle had been keyed. The incident occurred on November 9th between between 7:00 p.m. and 9:00 p.m. Police are reviewing available video surveillance as they continue to investigate. ST24020570

Warrant Arrest

A 36 year old St. Thomas resident has been arrested. On Monday November 11th 2024, officers on community patrol responded to an unrelated call for service and located the individual known to them to be wanted by our service on an outstanding warrant for Mischief, stemming from an incident in October. The 36 year old was transported to police headquarters where they were processed and held for a morning court appearance. ST24020589

A 32 year old St. Thomas resident has been arrested. On Monday November 11th 2024, officers located the individual known to them to be wanted by our service on an outstanding warrant for Break and Enter, Mischief and Failure to Comply with Probation, after being identified as the person responsible in a break and enter incident at Athletic Park in September. The 32 year old was transported to police headquarters where they were processed and held for a morning court appearance. ST24020605

Failure to Comply

A 22 year old St. Thomas resident has been charged with Failure to Comply with Release Order after STPS were notified by a remote monitoring company that the individual was at an address they are on conditions to not attend. A warrant for arrest has been requested. ST24020600

Theft

A white Yukon 750 Volt electric bike valued at approximately $2,300 has been reported stolen from an address on Forest Avenue. It was reported that the theft occurred at some point after November 9th at 5:30 p.m. This remains under investigation. ST24020601

RIDE

St. Thomas police are pleased to announce that of the vehicles that were stopped and their drivers spoken to during a RIDE program in the city last night, no infractions or concerns were reported. STPS wishes to thank the community for continuing to drive safe and sober. ST24020602
