Warrant Arrest and Drug Charges
Last night, at 6:20 p.m. officers on community patrol located an individual known to them to be wanted by our service on an outstanding warrant for Assault with a Weapon, Uttering Threats to Cause Harm and Failure to Comply with Probation. The individual, a 35 year old St. Thomas resident was arrested and transported to police headquarters to be processed on the charges. While being processed, officers found the individual to be in possession of:
- $232.30 Canadian Currency
- 2.5 grams suspected Methamphetamine – street value of approx. $100
- 37.5 grams suspected fentanyl – street value of approx. $540
- CDSA paraphernalia, including two scales
The 35 year old St. Thomas resident was additionally charged with two counts of Fail to Comply with Probation Order, one count of Possession of a Schedule I substance for the purpose of Trafficking – Methamphetamine, and one count of Possession of a Schedule I substance for the purpose of Trafficking – Fentanyl.
The individual was processed on all charges and released on an undertaking with a future court date. ST25009276/9278
Warrant Arrest
A 33 year old St. Thomas resident has been arrested. Last night, the London Police Service had the individual in their custody on an unrelated matter when they became aware of an outstanding warrant held by our service. The 33 year old had been charged with Possession of Property Obtained by Crime and Obstruct Police stemming from an incident in 2022. The individual was transferred to our custody and transported to STPS Headquarters where they were processed and held for a morning court appearance. ST25009295
Break and Enter Investigation
A break and enter incident has been reported to police. On Monday June 2nd, employees of a new construction apartment building on Moore Street, contacted STPS to report that sometime over the weekend, the model unit had been entered and damage had been caused to the interior space.
