Warrant Arrests 

A 39 year old St. Thomas resident has been arrested. On Monday July 15th 2024, police were dealing with the individual on an unrelated matter when they became aware of an outstanding warrant with our service for Failure to Comply with Undertaking, stemming from an incident in April. The individual was transported to police headquarters where they were processed and released with a future court date. ST24012115

A 41 year old St. Thomas resident has been arrested. On Monday July 15th 2024, officers were called to a retail store on Talbot Street for an unwanted person. Upon arrival, police located an individual known to be wanted on an outstanding warrant in relation to an incident in the downtown core in June, where they had been charged with Mischief after causing damage to a business.  The individual was transported to police headquarters where they were processed and released on an undertaking with a future court date. Theft

Approximately $128 of merchandise has been recovered and returned after police were called to a shoplifting incident on Monday. Just after 12:30 p.m. officers were called to investigate the report of an unknown individual concealing merchandise. The person was observed paying for some items but not the items concealed. Loss prevention approached the individual outside of the store and were able to retrieve the stolen goods. Police are reviewing video surveillance to identify the suspect. ST24012107

Failure to Comply

A 22 year old St. Thomas resident had been charged with one count of Failure to Comply after police were called to a southside address for the reports of a suspicious person. Through investigation, officers learned the individual was known to the caller and is to be adhering to a curfew. The 22 year old had left the area prior to police arrival. A warrant for arrest has been requested. ST24012154
