Recovered Stolen Vehicle

A transport truck reported stolen from business on Highbury Avenue on December 9th 2024, has been recovered in Mississauga. On Monday December 16th 2024, STPS was contacted by an individual who wished to report the truck had been abandoned in a parking lot. The business was notified and the truck and trailer were recovered. ST24022684/2266

Theft 

Approximately $50 of merchandise has been reported stolen from a downtown grocery store. On Monday December 16th 2024, officers were called to the store to investigate a theft that had occurred the night before. It was reported that an unknown individual failed to pay for items they had concealed in their jacket. Police are reviewing video of the incident as they continue to investigate. ST24022651

Two televisions have been reported stolen from a retail store on Talbot Street. On Monday December 16th 2024, officers were called to investigate the report of an individual loading the tv’s in a cart, hiding them with a large jacket and quickly exiting the store. Attending officers reviewed video of the incident and identified the person responsible as a 43 year old St. Thomas resident. The individual has been charged with Theft under $5,000 and Failure to Comply with Probation. A warrant for arrest has been requested. ST24022688
