Mischief

Damage to a vehicle parked on Ross Street has been reported damaged. On Monday, we were called by a homeowner in the area who wished to report their CCTV cameras captured three unknown individuals throwing rocks at a vehicle, causing damage. Officers are reviewing the video in an attempt to identify the parties responsible. ST25014785

Warrant Arrest

A 22 year old St. Thomas resident has been arrested. On Monday, officers on community patrol located the individual known to them to be wanted by our service on an outstanding warrant for Failure to Comply with Undertaking and Uttering Threats, stemming from an incident in July. The individual was transported to police headquarters, processed and release on an undertaking with a future court date. ST25014802

Intimate Partner Violence 

A 19 year old St. Thomas resident has been arrested after an investigation into unwanted communication. Last night, we were contacted to investigate the report of the individual making attempts to contact their ex-partner. The 19 year old accused is currently on release conditions to not contact or associate with the victim. Through further investigation, officers were made aware of several threats that had been made by the 19 year old. An attempt to locate the individual at their residence found them to not be abiding by their court ordered curfew.

As a result, the 19 year old was charged with:

  • Failure to Comply with Release Order
  • Uttering Threats – cause death or bodily harm
  • Mischief
  • Extortion

The individual was located during a traffic stop early this morning and transported to police headquarters, processed and held to attend court. ST25014840
