Failure to Comply

A 30 year old St. Thomas resident has been arrested. On Wednesday, while on an unrelated call for service, officers located the individual known to them to be on release conditions to not associate or communicate with the parties they were located with. As a result, the 30 year old was charged with Failure to Comply with Release Order and transported to police headquarters to be processed for court and was subsequently remanded into custody. A 34 year old St. Thomas resident has been arrested. Last night, we were called to an address on Princess Avenue to move along an individual who had been trespassed from the area. Upon arrival, officers located the 34 year old who was known to them to be wanted on an outstanding warrant for Failure to Comply with Release Order, after we were notified that they had failed to attend their court ordered probation. The individual was processed and released on an appearance notice with a future court date. ST25017491

Warrant ArrestsĀ 

A 38 year old St. Thomas resident has been arrested. On Wednesday, officers on community patrol located the individual known to them to be wanted by our service on an outstanding warrant for Theft under $5,000 stemming from a shoplifting incident in July. The individual was processed and released on an appearance notice with a future court date. ST25017447

A 36 year old St. Thomas resident has been arrested. On Wednesday, while in custody at the Elgin County Courthouse, officers processed the individual on two outstanding warrants for Break and Enter and two counts of Theft under $5,000, stemming from separate incidents in August and September. The 36 year old remains in custody. ST25017452/14953/16577

A 42 year old St. Thomas resident has been arrested. On Wednesday, officers on community patrol located the individual known to them to be wanted by our service on an outstanding probation warrant, stemming from an incident in June. The 42 year old was processed and released on an appearance notice to attend court. ST25017468

A 29 year old St. Thomas resident has been arrested. On Wednesday night, while on an unrelated call for service, officers located the individual known to them to be wanted for Theft under $5,000 and Failure to Comply with Probation after being charged in relation to a shoplifting incident on September 14th. The 29 year old was processed and released on an appearance notice with a future court date. ST25017486

A 29 year old St. Thomas resident has been arrested. On Wednesday night, we were called to an address on Talbot Street for the report of an unwanted person. Upon arrival, officers located the 29 year old who was known to them to be wanted by our service on an outstanding warrant for Assault with a Weapon and two counts of Failure to Comply with Probation, in relation to an investigation from earlier this week. The individual was transported to police headquarters, processed and released on an undertaking with a future court date. ST25017490/17336

Theft

A 38 year old Elgin County resident has been charged with Theft under $5,000 after we were called to investigate a shoplifting incident that occurred at a retail store on Talbot Street, Wednesday morning. Upon arrival, officers reviewed available video of the individual identifying them as person responsible. A warrant for arrest has been requested. ST25017443

Fraud

A local resident is out $1,800 after being notified of unauthorized transactions through their bank account. On Wednesday, the individual attended police headquarters to report the incident. This remains under investigation. ST25017457
