Warrant Arrest

A 45 year old St. Thomas resident has been arrested. On Wednesday, the Niagara Regional Police Service had the individual in their custody on the strength of our outstanding warrant after the individual had failed to attend their trial for Impaired Operation and Possession of a Schedule I Substance dating back to an incident in 2023. STPS attended and transported the 45 year old to St. Thomas police headquarters to be processed for a morning court appearance. ST25018979/23019542

Theft

$150 of groceries have been reported stolen from a grocery store on Talbot Street. On Wednesday, police attended the store to investigate the report of an unknown person failing to pay for their items, Tuesday afternoon. Video of the incident is being provided to police. ST25018931

A table saw and three tables have been reported stolen from an address on Chestnut Street. The property, valued at a combined $650 had been stolen from the address at some point between October 10th – 14th. CCTV in the area is available and being reviewed as this remains under investigation. ST25018953

Two cases of vodka coolers have been reported stolen from a retail store on Wellington Street. On Wednesday afternoon, officers were called to the store to investigate the report of two unknown youths concealing the product in backpacks. CCTV is being provided to police. ST25018969

Vehicle Entry 

A vehicle parked on Pearl Street has been reported entered. On Wednesday, the owner contacted police to report that several items including  a laptop and work keys had been stolen from their vehicle overnight. This remains under investigation. ST25018952
