Intimate Partner Violence
A 46 year old St. Thomas man has been arrested after multiple 911 calls from an address on the northside of the city. At 3:30 a.m. officers attended the area for the report of a physical altercation taking place between two individuals. Upon arrival, the parties involved were located and separated. Officers learned a verbal argument between the accused and his spouse had turned physical resulting in an assault. He was charged with one count of Assault and transported to police headquarters where he was processed and held for a morning court appearance. ST25021643
A 48 year old St. Thomas man has been arrested after police were called to an address on the southside of the city to remove the man following a dispute with his spouse. Upon arrival, officers learned an argument had escalated resulting in the man causing damage inside the address and throwing objects at the victim. As a result, he was charged with one count of Assault with a Weapon and transported to police headquarters to be processed. He was later released on an undertaking with a future court date. Fraud
St. Thomas police are investigating the report of fraud after a local resident contacted police. The victim reported that they were notified of their identification being used in an attempt to purchase a vehicle. The victim had reported their identification and bank cards stolen from their vehicle in 2023. This remains under investigation. ST25021682
Warrant Arrests
A 28 year old St. Thomas woman has been arrested. On Wednesday, the individual attended police headquarters to turn themselves in on an outstanding warrant for Possession of Property Obtain by Crime stemming from a stolen vehicle investigation in August. She was processed and released on an undertaking with a future court date. ST25021618/15517
A 58 year old St. Thomas man has been arrested. On Wednesday evening, officers on community patrol located the individual known to them to be wanted by our service for Break and Enter and two counts of Fail to Comply with Probation dating back to an investigation from August. He was transported to police headquarters, processed and held for a morning court appearance. ST25021621/14860
Theft
St. Thomas police are investigating a shoplifting incident that occurred at a retail store on Fairview Avenue. On Tuesday, the owner of the business called to report a theft had occurred on Sunday. An unknown female and two males where captured on the store’s CCTV. The video has been provided to police as this remains under investigation. ST25021601
Approximately $180 of alcohol has been reported stolen from a retail store on Talbot Street. On Wednesday, officers were called to the store to investigate the report of an unknown male failing to pay for several bottles of liquor. Video of the incident has been provided to police. ST25021625
