Assault with a Weapon

St. Thomas police are currently investigating the report of an assault. On Wednesday November 13th 2024, police were called to a northside address for the report of an individual being pepper sprayed. Through investigation, officers learned while the victim was walking through Lion’s Park, they were approached by an unknown individual who sprayed them in the face. EMS attended the area and treated the victim. Officers are reviewing video surveillance in the area as they continue to investigate. ST24020688

A 23 year old St. Thomas resident has been arrested after police were called to a disturbance. On Wednesday November 13th 2024, police were called to an address on the northside side of the city where a verbal argument between spouses had escalated resulting in an physical assault. Minor injuries were sustained by the victim who has been assaulted with a pair of scissors. As a result, the 23 year old St. Thomas resident was charged with Assault with a Weapon and transported to police headquarters, where they were processed and released on an undertaking with a future court date. Warrant Arrest

A 35 year old St. Thomas resident has been arrested. On Wednesday November 13th 2024, St. Thomas police were contacted by London police who advise they had the individual in their custody on the strength of an outstanding warrant with our service, stemming from an incident in December of 2023 where the 35 year old had been charged with Break and Enter and Failure to Comply with Probation. STPS attended London where custody was transferred. The individual was transported to St. Thomas police headquarters where they were processed to attend court date and were remanded into custody. Theft

3 cases of beer have been reported stolen from a retail store on Talbot Street. On Wednesday November 13th 2024, police were called to investigate the report of an unknown person attending the store, concealing the beer and failing to pay. Officers are reviewing video of the incident has they continue to investigate. ST24020700

A 38 year old St. Thomas resident has been charged with one count of Theft under $5,000 after being identified as the person responsible in a shoplifting incident that occurred at a convenience store on Talbot Street, yesterday. A warrant for arrest has been requested. ST24020715

Found Bicycle

St. Thomas police have recovered a blue, Ghost Mountain Bike. The bike was found at a retail store located in the 1055 Talbot Street area. If you recognize this bike to be yours, please contact police at 519-631-1224 x 4321 ST24020660
