Warrant Arrests

A 19 year old St. Thomas man has been arrested. On Wednesday, officers on community patrol located the individual known to them to be wanted by our service on an outstanding warrant stemming from separate shoplifting incidents earlier this year. He had been charged with three counts of Theft under $5,000 and three counts of Failure to Comply with Probation in relation to the incidents. Officers transported the accused to police headquarters where he was processed and later released on an undertaking with a future court date. ST26004606/4221/4280/4195

A 33 year old St. Thomas man has been arrested. On Wednesday, the individual was located by officers on community patrol. A warrant for his arrest was issued after he was charged with two counts of Break and Enter following an investigation from September. The accused was processed and released on an appearance notice to attend court. ST26004620/25015877/15320

Drug Charges Following Warrant Arrest 

A 30 year old St. Thomas woman has been arrested. Wednesday evening while dealing with the individual on an unrelated matter, officers were made aware of an outstanding warrant for her arrest held by Waterloo Regional Police Service and the Greater Sudbury Police Service. She was transported to police headquarters where a search incident to arrest found the accused to be in possession of a quantity of suspected Opioids. Charged with one count of Possession of a Controlled Substance, she was processed and released to WRPS. ST26004628

Failure to Comply 

A 16 year old St. Thomas teen has been arrested. On Wednesday evening, officers were called to an address on the southside of the city for the report of an unwanted person. Upon arrival, officers located the teen who was known to police to be bound by several conditions of the court, including a curfew and to remain at the address designated by the courts. As a result, the 16 year old was charged with Failure to Comply with Sentence, Failure to Comply with Release Order and Failure to Comply with Undertaking. ST26004647
