Warrant Arrest
A 28 year old St. Thomas resident wanted by our service for Failure to Comply with Probation, Failure to Comply with Release Order and Theft under $5,000 has been arrested. On Wednesday, as the result of call for service to move along an unwanted person, we located the 28 year old who was known to be wanted. The individual was transported to police headquarters where they were processed to attend court and were remanded into custody. ST25010423
A 34 year old St. Thomas resident has been arrested. On Wednesday, the individual attended police headquarters to turn themselves in on an outstanding warrant for Assault with a Weapon, Criminal Harassment and Dangerous Operation stemming from an incident in May. The 34 year old was processed and released on an undertaking with a future court date. ST25010432
Porch Pirate – Theft
A ring camera captured an unknown individual steal a package from an address on Roseberry Place, early Wednesday morning. The video was provided to police after the homeowner received an alert from the ring camera app. If you recognize the individual in the video, please contact police at 519-631-1224 or submit an anonymous tip through Crime Stoppers. Theft
$60 of merchandise has been reported stolen from a retail store on Edward Street. On Wednesday, we were called to the store to investigate the report of an unknown individual leaving the store with the items after their payment had failed. Images of the individual are being reviewed as we continue to investigate. ST25010436
Fraud Investigation
A local resident is out $30,000 after falling victim to an investment scam. On Wednesday, the individual contacted police to report they had fallen victim to a crypto-currency scam. The investigation has been turned over to our Criminal Investigation Branch. ST25010462
Stolen Vehicle – Recovered
A 2005 Blue GMC Sierra truck, reported stolen from an address on Burwell Road on March 26th, 2025 has been recovered. On Wednesday June 18th 2025, we were contacted by Middlesex OPP who had located the vehicle at an address in Melbourne. Significant damage had been caused to the truck and the ignition had been tampered with. ST25004916
