Assault with a Weapon

St. Thomas Police are investigating an assault that occurred at a restaurant on Talbot Street Wednesday evening. Officers attended the address for the report of an employee being assaulted by a patron. Through investigation, police learned when asked to leave due to their behaviour, the individual became escalated and threw a glass at the employee. The glass broke, causing minor injury. Video was provided to police who continue their investigation. ST26012890

Warrant Arrest

A 40 year old St. Thomas man has been arrested. On Wednesday, the individual attended police headquarters to turn himself in on an outstanding warrant for Assault stemming from an incident on July 1st. Once processed, he was released on an undertaking with a future court date. ST26012337

Theft Investigations

A 30 year old St. Thomas man has been charged with Theft under $5,000 after being identified as the person responsible for stealing a cell phone. A warrant for his arrest has been requested. ST26012840

A blue, Max4 e-bike valued at $1,800 has been reported stolen from an address on Talbot Street. The theft is reported to have occurred on Wednesday morning between 12:00 a.m. and 6:00 a.m.. This remains under investigation. ST26012842

A 51 year old Watford rman has been arrested after police were called to a retail store on Talbot Street on Wednesday. The individual had failed to pay for his items and was located upon police arrival. Through investigation, officers learned the accused had also attended the store on an earlier date and failed to pay for his items. Charged with two counts of Theft under $5,000 he was transported to police headquarters, processed and later released on an undertaking with a future court date. ST26012848

St. Thomas police are investigating the report of several packages, valued at $400 being stolen from an address on Yarwood Street. On Wednesday, the resident received notification that their packages had been delivered, however returned home to find them stolen. This remains under investigation. ST26012891
