Sexual Assault

A warrant has been issued for a 41 year old male that resides outside of St. Thomas. The male is charged with Sexual Assault after a local female reported being the victim of a sexual assault while at a New Year’s Eve party. The male and female were unknown to each other.  ^0020

Mischief

At approximately 7:15am on Tuesday, four unknown suspects threw several eggs at the rear of a home in the southeast end of the City. The suspects left the area in a small car. Break and Enter

On Tuesday evening, an unknown suspect broke into several sheds and sea-cans at three separate businesses in the industrial area. The three break and enter incidents are believed to be connected. Warrant Arrest

On Wednesday afternoon members to the STPS Community Response Unit were responding to an unrelated incident in the downtown core when they came across a 28 year old male, currently wanted by police. A bench warrant had been issued after that male failed to attend court to answer to charges of Assault and Fail to Comply with Undertaking. The male was arrested without incident and released at the scene with a future court date. ^0168

Warrant Arrest

On Wednesday afternoon police attended the Elgin Middlesex Detention Centre to execute a Provincial Offences Act warrant. The 40 year old defendant had been in custody for an unrelated matter and was being released on this date. The warrant was executed and the male was released with a future court date. ^0170

Assault

A 39 year old St. Thomas man was arrested on Wednesday following an investigation into a historical assault incident. The man was charged with one count of Assault and later released with a future court date. ^0172

Theft

Fifty year old Donald Cummings of St. Thomas is wanted by police after stealing approximately $50 from a tip jar at a local food establishment. The theft was captured on video surveillance. Donald Cummings is charged with Theft Under $5000. ^0176.

Theft

During the early morning hours of January 4th, an unknown suspect attended a business in the industrial zone and stole a quantity of scrap metal. The suspect left the area in a small car. Warrant Arrest

On Tuesday afternoon police responded to a business in the downtown core for reports of a theft. While investigating this matter, police spoke with a 30 year old female. It was later learned that the female was wanted by the Aylmer Police Service. The female was taken into custody without incident and members of the STPS released the female with a future court date on behalf of the Aylmer Police. ^0186

Mischief

A warrant has been issued for a 36 year old St. Thomas woman for Mischief Under $5000. The woman was observed breaking a window to her former south end apartment building and attempting to gain entry. ^0200
