Threats 

A 41 year old St. Thomas resident has been arrested and charged with Uttering Threats after police were called to an apartment on Talbot Street, Wednesday afternoon. Just after 11:30 a.m. police were called to the address for the report of a tenant who had uttered threats to harm others in the building before entering their apartment and refusing to come out. Responding officers communicated with the individual, who was later arrested and transported to police headquarters where they were processed and held for a morning court appearance. ST25002751

A 22 year old St. Thomas resident has been arrested and charged with Uttering Threats and Possession of a Scheduled I Substance after police were called to a grocery store on Talbot Street, Wednesday afternoon. At 2:30 p.m. officers were called to the store by an employee who was threatened by the 22 year old who had previously been trespassed from the property. Police reviewed video of the incident to identify the individual, who was quickly located a short distance away. The individual was arrested and found to be in possession of approximately 5.7 grams of Methamphetamine and 1.1 grams of Fentanyl. The 22 year old was transported to police headquarters where officers processed the individual on their charges and additional outstanding warrants held by our service for Failure to Comply with Probation, Theft Under $5,000, Breach of Probation, and Break and Enter. They were held for a morning court appearance. ST25002763

Warrant Arrest 

A 31 year old St. Thomas resident has been arrested. While on an unrelated call for service, officers located the individual known to them to be wanted by our service on an outstanding warrant for Theft under $5,000 and Failure to Comply with Probation stemming from a shoplifting incident in January. The 31 year old was transported to police headquarters where they were processed and released on an undertaking with a future court date. ST25002770

Theft

St. Thomas police are currently investigating the report of stolen property. On Wednesday February 19th 2025, officers were called to an address on Scott Street to investigate the report of winter boots and a wagon that had been stolen, sometime overnight. This remains under investigation. ST25002734

Looking to Identify

Approximately $550 of clothing has been reported stolen from a retail store on Talbot Street. On Wednesday February 19th 2025, officers were called to store to investigate the report of an unknown person leaving the store without paying for their items. In similar incidents reported to police this week, police are investigating the report of beer being stolen from a retail store on Talbot Street. On Wednesday February 19th 2025, officers were called to the store by an employee who wished to report an unknown individual had left the store with 1 – 6 pack of beer they failed to pay for.
