Theft 

Police are investigating the report of theft that occurred at a gas station in the north end of the city. On Wednesday, officers were called to the address for the report of an unknown individual failing to pay for $30 of gas. Video of the incident has been provided to police. ST26002347

Bail Violations 

A 67 year old St. Thomas resident, charged by the London Police Service with two counts of Failure to Comply with Release Order has been arrested. On Wednesday, STPS attended an address in St. Thomas and located the accused. He was transported to police headquarters and transferred to LPS custody. ST26002381

Warrant Arrest 

A 40 year old St. Thomas man charged with Assault and one count of Theft under $5,000 has been arrested. On Wednesday while dealing with the individual on an unrelated matter, officers at the Elgin County Courthouse were made aware of the outstanding warrant for arrest.  The accused was processed before the court and remanded into custody. Counterfeit Money

St. Thomas police are continuing to see the use of counterfeit money in the city. On Wednesday, the owner of a local business called to report they received what they believed to be a counterfeit bill. Officers attended and confirm the bill to be fake. ST26002419
