Assault 

A 37 year old St. Thomas man has been arrested after police were called to a parking lot on Elm Street to investigate the report of an altercation between two people. Upon arrival, officers located the victim who had been physically assaulted by the accused, who had left the area in a vehicle prior to police arrival.

A traffic stop was conducted and the accused was located.

As a result, the 37 year old was changed with one count of Assault and later released on an undertaking with a future court date. The victim was treated for minor injuries. ST25021366

Warrant Arrest 

A 43 year old St. Thomas man, charged with Mischief after an incident on Friday evening, has been arrested. On Saturday, he attended police headquarters to turn himself on the outstanding warrant. He was processed and later released on an undertaking with a future court date. ST25021339/21382

A 40 year old St. Thomas woman has been arrested. On Saturday evening, officers on community patrol located the individual known to them to be wanted on an outstanding probation warrant after failing to attend a court ordered probation program. She was processed and released on an appearance with a future court date. ST25021411

Fraud 

A local resident is out approximately $900. On Saturday, police were contacted to investigate the report of fraudulent transactions from Germany from the victims local bank accounts. This remains under investigation. ST25021346

Theft

A purse has been reported stolen from an establishment on Talbot Street. On Saturday, a local resident contacted police to report the purse with the keys to their car had been stolen Friday evening. CCTV is available and being provided to police. ST25021367

A black Prodigy scooter has been reported stolen from a restaurant on Talbot Street. On Saturday evening, while at the restaurant the owner of the scooter called police to report it had been stolen.  Video is available and being provided to police. ST25021379

Shoplifting

Three people have been arrested after police were alerted to a shoplifting incident in progress. While at Walmart on Saturday afternoon for Stuff the Cruiser, officers were made aware that the parties had just left the store, failing to pay for a cart full of merchandise. Officers located the individuals at their car, loading the merchandise into the trunk. As a result, a 25 year old man, a 41 year old woman and 65 year old woman were all arrested and charged with Theft under $5,000. The parties were processed and released with appearance notices for a future date in court. The stolen merchandise was return to the store. ST25021383
