Vehicle Entries, Warrant Arrests, Fail to Comply and Assaults Reported

A Local Business located on Ontario Road has been the recent victim of vehicle entries in the city.  The business reported 3 of their vehicles entered sometime in the early hours of Friday morning.  Video of the incident was captured and is currently under investigation and inventory is still being compiled of the missing items.  ST24014893

Warrant Arrests

A 47 year old female resident of the city, wanted on numerous warrants was arrested early on Friday morning without incident.  She was held in custody, appeared in court and was later remanded into custody.  ST24014900

A 68 year old St. Thomas man, who had been identified through social media in relation to a theft/fraud from a local retailer, turned himself in on Friday morning.  The man was identified from an incident a month previous and was arrested, processed and released with a future court and fingerprint date.  ST24014903

Failing to Comply with Release Order

A 49 year old temporary resident of the city was arrested Friday after it was learned that he had failed to sign in on numerous occasions contrary to his release order.  It was also learned that the man had failed to report to local Probation and Parole.  He was held in custody, appeared in court and remanded into custody.  ST24014917

Sexual Assault Arrest

A 46 year old St. Thomas man, wanted on Sexual Assault charges has turned himself into police.  Mid-afternoon on Friday, the man contacted police after being informed of a warrant existing for his arrest.  The man had been the subject of a recent sexual assault investigation and was taken to Elgin County Court house.  He would later be remanded into custody.  ST24014928

Domestic Assault Investigation

On Friday evening, officers responded to an address in the city’s north end in response to a domestic assault investigation.  As a result of that investigation a 20 year old St.Thomas man has been taken into custody.  The man faces allegations of domestic assault, assault causing bodily harm and failing to comply with a condition of probation.  He was held at St. Thomas Police Station where he appeared in Weekend and Statutory Holiday Court.   ST24014980
