Intimate Partner Violence 

Two St. Thomas residents have been arrested after police were called to a disturbance at an apartment building on Talbot Street, Sunday morning.  Just before 8:30 a.m. officers attended the address for the report of two individuals engaged in a physical altercation. Upon arrival, officers located the parties involved. Through investigation it was learned a verbal altercation between the couple had escalated resulting in them both physically assaulting each other. As a result, a 44 year old St. Thomas woman and 36 year old St. Thomas man were both charged with one count of Assault and transported to police headquarters. Once processed, the individuals were released on conditions to not associate with each other and attend court on a future date. ST25019671/9672

Mischief / Theft

St. Thomas police are currently investigating the report of damage caused to an external air conditioning unit at a Talbot Street business. On Sunday, video provided to police showed four unknown individuals cause damage to the unit and remove the copper wire. This remains under investigation. ST25019680

Mischief 

Windows of a business in the 1200 block of Talbot Street have been reported damaged. On Sunday evening, the owner of the building called police to report that the damage occurred sometime after Thursday evening. This remains under investigation. ST25019693

Warrant Arrest 

A 30 year old St. Thomas man has been arrested. On Sunday afternoon, while dealing with the individual on an unrelated matter officers were made aware of an outstanding warrant for two counts of Theft under $5,000 after being identified as the person responsible in separate shoplifting incidents earlier this month. He was processed and released on an appearance notice with a future court date. ST25019683

Theft

A 43 year old St. Thomas man resident has been arrested. On Sunday evening, officers attended a retail store on Talbot Street for the report of a theft in progress. Upon arrival, officers located the accused with the reported stolen merchandise. As a result, he was charged with one count of Theft under $5,000 and Failure to Comply with Release Order. Once processed, he was released on an appearance notice to attend court. ST25019694
