Theft

A 29 year old St. Thomas woman has been arrested. On Sunday evening police were called to a retail store on Talbot Street to investigate the report of an individual failing to pay for a comforter. Officers located the accused in a nearby parking lot with the merchandise. Through investigation it was learned the woman is currently on conditions to not attend the address. As a result, she was charged with Theft under $5,000, Failure to Comply with Undertaking and two counts of Fail to Comply with Probation. The woman was transported to police headquarters, processed and held for a morning court appearance. ST250120178

A wallet and cell phone have been reported stolen. On Sunday, officers attended a retail store on Talbot Street to investigate the report of the property being stolen while the victim was trying on clothing. CCTV has been provided to police. ST25020123

Mischief

A 19 year old St. Thomas man has been charged with Mischief and Failure to Comply with Probation after police were called to a family disturbance on Sunday. Just before noon officers attended an address on the southside of the city to investigate the report of the accused attending a family members home and causing damage inside. The 19 year old was located and transported to police headquarters where he was processed and held for a morning court appearance. ST250120152

Bail Violations

A 47 year old St. Thomas woman has been arrested. On Sunday while investigating the report of a suspicious vehicle, officers located the woman who was known to them to be on conditions to not associate with the owner of the vehicle. As a result, she was charged with Failure to Comply with Release and transported to police headquarters where she was processed and held for court. ST250120164

Warrant Arrest

A 29 year old Muncey resident has been arrested. On Sunday, OPP advised the woman was in their custody on the strength of our warrant stemming from an incident in January, where she had been charged with Theft under $5,000 in relation to a shoplifting incident.
