Suspicious Incident
On Sunday November 9th at approximately 10:40 p.m., St. Thomas Police responded to the report of a suspicious incident on Ron McNeil Line.
Officers attended the scene after receiving information from the Ontario Provincial Police regarding a single vehicle collision. The driver reported that while attempting to free his vehicle from a ditch, he was approached by a male who assaulted him and took his cellphone before fleeing the area. The stolen phone was later recovered nearby.

Theft
$500 of clothing and general merchandise have been reported stolen from a retail store on Talbot Street. On Sunday, officers were called to the store to investigate the report of an unknown individual failing to pay for the items. Video has been provided to police. This remains under investigation. A 30 year old St. Thomas man has been arrested after police were called to a west end grocery store. On Sunday, officers attended the store to investigate the report of an unwanted person concealing items. It was additionally learned that the individual, known to employees had been trespassed from the location. The accused was located a short distance away and taken into custody, charged with one count of Theft under $5,000 and Failure to Comply with Probation. The 30 year old was transported to police headquarters, processed and released on an undertaking with a future court date. ST25020619
Warrant Arrest
A 37 year old St. Thomas woman has been arrested. On Sunday evening, the individual attended police headquarters to turn herself in on an outstanding warrant for Assault following an incident with her partner on Saturday. She was processed and released on an undertaking with a future court date. ST25020599
Failure to Comply
A 44 year old St. Thomas man has been arrested after police were called to investigate the report of an unwanted person. On Sunday, officers attended an address on Alma Street and located the accused who is currently on release to conditions to not attend the address or communicate with those that live there. As a result, he was charged with Failure to Comply with Release Order and transported to police headquarters where he processed and held for a morning court appearance. ST25020620
