Vehicles vandalized
A homeowner in a subdivision near the Elgin Centre contacted St. Thomas Police on Sunday May 14th 2023 to report that 3 vehicles parked in the driveway had been vandalized with spray paint. Through investigation it was learned that sometime in the overnight hours of May 13th 2023, 3 of the homeowners vehicles had been vandalized and sprayed with a substance similar to spray paint. Video surveillance and photos are currently being reviewed as police continue their investigation. ST23008183
Warrant Arrest
A 29 year old St. Thomas resident has been arrested after a traffic stop on Sunday May 14th 2023. The traffic stop, a bicycle infraction lead to officers being made aware of an outstanding warrant for Theft under $5000 and Obstruct Peace Officer. The 29 year old was taken into custody, processed and release on an appearance notice. ST23008194
