Theft

Approximately $200 of meat has been reported stolen from a grocery store on Talbot Street. On Friday June 16th 2023, just after 7:30 p.m. St. Thomas police were called to investigate the theft after store employees stopped an individual who had left the store without paying for the meat. When approached, the suspect surrendered the product. STPS are reviewing available video surveillance to identify the individual. ST23010537

Approximately $300 of various merchandise has been reported stolen from a retail store on Talbot Street. On Friday June 16th 2023, at 10:00 p.m. St. Thomas police were called to investigate the theft after store employees witnessed an individual leaving the store with multiple bags, failing to pay. The suspect could be seen leaving the area on a green bike. STPS are reviewing available video surveillance and continue to investigate. ST23010544

A set of golf clubs valued at $2,300 as been reported stolen from vehicle on Southgate Parkway.  On Sunday June 18th, 2023 St. Thomas police were called by the vehicle owner who wished to report that sometime overnight, an unknown person entered the vehicle, taking the full set of clubs, the bag and some golf accessories. This remains under investigation. ST23010642

A $350 Dewalt Impact Driver has been reported stolen from a retail store on Edward Street. On Sunday June 18th, 2023 St. Thomas police were called by store employees to investigate the theft. It was reported that just before 10:00 a.m. an unknown person attended an outdoor retail tent and stole the item, leaving the area immediately. Police are looking to identify the person seen in this photo. Found Bike

A Movelo Algonquin 26 inch, black and red 15 speed bike has been found. On Sunday June 18th, 2023 STPS were called by a resident on Erie Street who reported the bike had been on the road since midnight. Police attended to collect the bike.
