Theft investigation leads to arrests
Two St. Thomas residents have been arrested in relation to a theft investigation. On June 26th 2024, officers were called to the 700 block of Talbot Street to investigate the report of an unknown individual(s) attending the address and stealing a battery from a mechanical lift. Through investigation, officers identified the parties responsible. A 59 year old St. Thomas resident has been charged with Theft under $5,000 and a 56 year old St. Thomas resident has been charged with Theft under $5,000 and two counts of Failure to Comply with Probation. On Sunday July 7th, 2024 both individuals were located and transported to police headquarters where they were processed and released on an undertaking with a future court date. ST24010803/11524/11525
Warrant Arrests
A 30 year old London resident has been arrested on the strength of an outstanding warrant held by the STPS. On Sunday July 7th 2024, St. Thomas police were notified by London Police that they had the individual in custody on the strength of our warrant for Breach of Probation. Officers attended London to process the individual who was released on an appearance notice. ST24011536
A 29 year old St. Thomas resident has been arrested. On Sunday July 7th 2024, officers on community patrol located the individual known to them to be wanted on an outstanding warrant with our service for Mischief and Failure to Comply with Probation Order. The individual was transported to police headquarters where they were processed and released on an appearance notice. ST24011538
A 31 year old St. Thomas resident has been arrested. On Sunday July 7th 2024, officers on community patrol located the individual known to them to be wanted on an outstanding warrant for Theft under $5,000 and two counts of Failure to Comply with Probation after being identified as the person responsible for a shoplifting incident on June 29th, 2024. The 31 year old was transported to police headquarters, processed and released on undertaking with a future court date. ST24011573
