Failure to Comply 

A 42 year old St. Thomas resident has been arrested. On Sunday, officers on community observed the individual to be with a person they are currently on conditions to not associate with. When police attempted to speak with the accused, they quickly left the area on a bike. The 42 year old was located a short a distance away and arrested. Charged with one count of Failure to Comply with Release Order and one count Failure to Comply with Probation Order, they were transported to police headquarters where they were processed and held for a morning court appearance. Theft

$65 of merchandise has been reported stolen from a grocery store on Talbot Street. On Sunday, we were called to the store after an unknown person concealed several items in a bag before leaving the store, falling to pay. CCTV of the incident is being reviewed in an attempt to identify the person responsible. ST25013261

A blue Hyper e-bike with cruiser style handlebars valued at $400 has been reported stolen. On Sunday, we were called to a Talbot Street address after the owner of the bike woke up to find the lock had been cut and the bike stolen. This remains under investigation. ST25013266

$50 of merchandise has has been reported stolen from a grocery store on Talbot Street. On Sunday, we were called to the store after an employee reviewing CCTV from the evening before, observed an unknown person leaving the store without paying for their items. This remains under investigation. ST25013267

A 31 year old St. Thomas resident has been arrested after police were called to a retail store on Talbot Street. On Sunday, we attended a pet store to investigate the report of an unknown person that had previously stolen from the store, returning. Upon arrival, officers located the individual known to them to be wanted by our service for Threats, Impaired Operation and Theft under $5,000 in relation to incidents dating back to 2024. The 31 year old was transported to police headquarters where they were additionally charged with Theft under $5,000, processed and released on an undertaking with a future court date. ST25013278

A 40 year old St. Thomas resident has been arrested after being identified as the person responsible in separate thefts reported to police over the weekend. On Sunday, officers on community patrol located the individual who had been identified as the person responsible for a shoplifting incident at a retail store on Talbot Street and for stealing a phone from a residence on Alma Street. The individual has been charged with two counts of Failure to Comply with Probation and two count of Theft under $5,000. They were transported to police headquarters where they were processed and released on an undertaking with a future court date. ST25013305/3314/3231

Warrant Arrests 

A 42 year old St. Thomas resident has been arrested. On Sunday, while dealing with the individual on an unrelated call for service we were made aware of an outstanding warrant with the London Police Service. The individual had been charged with Possession of Property Obtained by Crime under $5,000, Possession of Property Obtained by Crime over $5,000 and Drive while Prohibited. The 42 year old was arrested and transported to St. Thomas police headquarters where they were processed and released with a future court date in London. ST25013265

A 39 year old St. Thomas resident has been arrested. On Sunday, officers on community patrol located the individual known to them to be wanted for Breach of Probation. The individual had been charged in June after failing to comply with their probation order. The 39 year old was processed and released on an appearance notice. ST25013268

A 30 year old St. Thomas resident has been arrested. As the result of a traffic stop on Sunday, officers located the individual known to them to be wanted on an outstanding warrant with our service. The individual had been charged with Failure to Comply with Undertaking after an incident in May. The 30 year old was processed and released with a future court date. ST25013316

Stolen Vehicle Recovered

A vehicle reported stolen in the overnight hours on Saturday was quickly recovered by police on Sunday morning. Early Sunday morning, we were called to an address on the west side of the city after the vehicle owner woke up to find their car gone. Through investigation, officers located the vehicle parked in a parking lot a short distance away. The owner was contacted and the vehicle retrieved. ST25013264
