Failure to Comply 

Two St. Thomas residents have been arrested after police were called to investigate the report of an unwanted person. On Sunday July 21st 2024, police attended a northside address and located two individuals who were on conditions to not communicate with each other. Through further investigation, officers learned one of the individuals was wanted by Strathroy Police on an outstanding warrant. As a result, a 34 year old St. Thomas resident was arrested on the strength of that warrant and a 30 year old St. Thomas resident was charged with one count Failure to Comply with Undertaking. Both parties were transported to police headquarters where they were processed and released. ST24012520

Breach of Probation 

A 34 year old St. Thomas resident has been arrested. On Sunday July 21st 2024, officers were called to a retail store on Talbot Street to investigate a shoplifting incident. A description of the involved individual was provided to police and the suspect was located. As a result, the 34 year old has been charged with one count Theft under $5,000 and one count Fail to Comply with Probation. The individual was transported to police headquarters where they were processed and released on an undertaking with a future court date. ST24012552
