Break and enter

As reported yesterday a 32 year old male was arrested for break and enter.  While attending to the stolen property that was located on the arrested party police identified a further victim.  That victim was notified and reported that his shed was also broken into on McLachlin on December 31, 2023.  Additional charges are being laid on the arrested male party. *ST23000030

Break and enter

Police were called to First avenue for a break and enter alarm.  On arrival a window was broken and a door was ajar.  Police cleared the building and the building was secured.  If anyone saw any suspicious activity around the area of First and Thompson between 5:00pm and 5:30pm please contact STPS at 519-631-1223 or Crime stoppers.  *ST23000031

Domestic assault

Police were called to the area of Dunkirk for a domestic assault that had just occurred.  On arrival police were advised that a 38 year old male had assaulted a female.  Prior to police arrival the male had fled the area.  There are grounds for this males arrest and a warrant is being sought for his arrest. *ST23000033

Theft

On Sunday January 1st, 2023 the victim contact police to advise that his red snow blower was stolen from the rear of his property.  The snow blower was beleived to have been taken sometime overnight.  If anyone has information in regards to the red snow blower please contact police or Crime stoppers. *ST23000022

Theft

On Sunday January 1st, 2023 police were called to a residence for a theft of credit cards.  Police attended the residence and were advised that after a new years eve party on the 31st of December, a guest left the residence with the owners credit cards and other items.  The theft is currently under investigation with further charges pending.  *ST23000018

Bail Violations

On Sunday January 1st, 2023 police were investigating a separate matter when they learned that a 41 year old male from London was in breach of his release conditions.  Police currently have grounds for the arrest of this individual and are seeking a warrant for his arrest.  *ST23000023

Mischief

Police responded to a call on Elm street of a window that was broken at an apartment complex in the area.  Police were advised that a female was in the area of the building at the time of the incident and that a sound of broken glass could be heard from a distance.  This incident is currently under investigation.  *ST23000043
