A 35 year old St. Thomas woman has been arrested following an incident that occurred over the weekend. On Sunday, a 35 year old St. Thomas man contacted police to report he had been assaulted on Saturday by his ex-girlfriend. Through investigation, the accused was charged with one count of Assault with a Weapon. She was arrested Sunday evening, processed and released on an undertaking with a future court date. ST26000944
Assault Investigation
St. Thomas police are investigating the report of an assault that occurred between students at a local high school. It was reported that the incident took place on January 8th 2026. Video is available and has been provided to police. This remains under investigation. ST26000909
Theft
Several tools and prescription glasses have been reported stolen from a vehicle. On Sunday, police were called by the vehicle owner who wished to report that while parked at a retail store on Talbot Street Friday evening, their vehicle was entered and the items were stolen. $75 of grocery items have been reported stolen from a retail store on Talbot Street. On Sunday evening, officers were called to the store for the report of an unknown woman failing to pay for the items. CCTV of this incident has been provided to police. ST26000962
A 21 year old St. Thomas man has been arrested. On Sunday, the individual attended police headquarters to turn himself in on an outstanding warrant for Theft under $5,000 and Failure to Comply with Probation after being identified as the person responsible in a shoplifting incident from January 9th. The 21 year old was processed and later released on an undertaking with a future court date. ST26000952/0467
