Assault/ False fire alarm:

A warrant application has been applied for for a 46 year old male who assaulted, threatened and then pulled the fire alarm at a St. Thomas complex on Saturday evening.  The male got into a physical confrontation with his neighbor and then pulled the fire alarm in the building.  ST24022959

Theft:

An Amazon package was taken from the front porch of a resident in the area of Hinks Street in the city of St. Thomas on Sunday December 22, 2024.  Male suspect described as wearing plaid jacket.  Anyone in the area with surveillance of this male during the 5:30am time frame are asked to contact police at 519-631-1224 or Crime Stoppers. R.I.D.E

Police conducted a R.I.D.E spot check Sunday morning 25 vehicles were stopped and no infractions were observed.  Please take care of the roads this holiday season and don’t drink and drive. ST24022989

Break and Enter

Several locks were cut at a local business on Progress drive in the morning hours of Sunday.  Surveillance cameras observed two individuals wearing all black with faces covered holding bolt cutters enter compound and proceed to cut locks to trailers.  ST24022995

Warrant arrests:

A young person turned herself into police on Sunday and was arrested on the strength of a warrant.  The young person was released with conditions and a future court date. ST24023015.  Early Monday morning police observed a 39 year old female while on patrol and recognized her as a wanted party.  She was also arrested on the strength of the outstanding warrant and held for a bail hearing.  ST24023038

Theft:

A female entered a local grocery store located on Talbot and proceeded to take $300-$500 worth of merchandise and walk past all points of sale without paying.  The female is described as wearing a red jacket and black pants and fled on a bicycle. ST24023023
