Break and Enter
We are currently investigating a break and enter incident that occurred at a business on Ross Street. Early Sunday morning, we were called to the address to investigate the report of a door being smashed. We attended the business and cleared the building with no one located in the area. Reported stolen is $2,300 in cheques, coins and property. Video surveillance is being reviewed as we continue to investigate. ST25006889
Theft
$500 of groceries and merchandise has been reported stolen from a grocery store on Wellington Street. On Sunday April 27th 2025, we were called to the store to investigate the report of two unknown individuals attending the store and failing to pay for a cart full of items. Video of the incident captures the suspects and the vehicle they left the area in. This remains under investigation. ST25006911
Warrant Arrests
A 35 year old St. Thomas resident has been arrested. The individual had been charged with Failure to Comply with Release Order, earlier this month. On Sunday evening, officers on community patrol located the 35 year old who was transported to police headquarters, processed and released on an appearance notice. ST25006935
A 34 year old St. Thomas resident has been arrested. On Sunday evening, we located the individual who had previously been charged with Breach of Probation. The 34 year old was transported to police headquarters where they were processed and held for a morning court appearance. ST25006936
A 34 year old St. Thomas resident, charged with Theft under $5,000 has been arrested. The individual had been charged after being identified as the person responsible in a shoplifting incident from April 22nd. The 34 year was processed and released on an appearance notice. ST25006938
RIDE
St. Thomas police are pleased to share that of the vehicles stopped and their drivers spoken to during a RIDE program in the city early Monday morning, no infractions were found. STPS wishes to thank the community for continuing to drive safe and sober. ST25006950
