Media Release- May 18th 2023

Arrested:

A 32 year old St. Thomas resident has been arrested on an outstanding warrant held by the OPP. The male was transported to the police headquarters, processed and released by the OPP. ST23008406

Break and Enter:

On Thursday May 18th 2023, St. Thomas police were called to a down town business to investigate a break and enter that had occurred. Through investigation it was learned that the business had been entered through an insecure door. Reported stolen was food items and a ring of keys. Police are reviewing video surveillance and continue to investigate. ST23008408

Break and Enter:

A commercial break and enter has been reported to police. On Thursday May 18th 2023, St. Thomas Police were called to storage facility where it was determined that numerous storage units had been entered. Police are reviewing available surveillance and continue to investigate. ST23008412

Mischief:

St. Thomas City Parks Department located mischief to the Wellington Street Park. Graffiti was located on the sidewalk and on trees. Police continue to investigate. ST23008414

Theft:

A gas theft occurred on the 17th of May 2023. Staff at Petro Canada located at 400 Highbury Ave reported that a white pickup truck pumped fuel and took a jug of windshield washer fluid and made no attempt to pay for either item. Surveillance video has been obtained and police continue to investigate. ST23008421

 

Theft:

On the 17th of May 2023, a youth bicycle was stolen from Pierre Elliot Trudeau French Immersion School. The bicycle is an “Iron Horse” mountain bike with green accents and pedals. Police continue to investigate. ST23008410
