Theft – Police responded to a grocery store in the downtown core for the report of a theft of meat products. Through investigation, Police have identified a 39 year old male who is to be charged with Theft Under $5000.00. A warrant for his arrest has been requested at this time. ST26003858
Trouble with Youth – Police responded to a disturbance involving the report of a weapon at a local residence Friday morning. Upon arrival, Police were made aware of threats made in the home and that significant damage was caused to the property. It was apparent that the individual was in crisis and requiring additional support. Police successfully deescalated the situation and assisted in connecting the individual with the required services. Assault – A 16 year old has been charged with assault after Police responded to a disturbance at a north-side address Saturday morning. Upon arrival, Police learned that a verbal argument had escalated resulting in a physical altercation. Charged with one count of assault, the teen was transported to Police headquarters, processed, and released on an Undertaking with a future court date. ST26003901
Theft – Police responded to a grocery store in the downtown core for the report of a theft. A female party had been observed concealing a bottle of wine before leaving the store without making any attempt to pay. A female suspect has been identified and the matter is under investigation at this time. ST26003903
Bail Violation – Police attended an address in the north end of the City in response to a 44 year old male breaching the conditions of his Release Order by communicating with another male that resided in the home. The male was arrested and charged with Failing to Comply with Release Order and held for a morning court appearance. ST26003939
Warrant Arrest – Police arrested a 40 year old male on reasonable grounds for Theft Under $5000.00 after Police attended a downtown apartment complex for the report of an unwanted person. The male was released on an Appearance Notice. ST26003958
