Indecent Acts

A 58 year old St. Thomas man has been arrested and charged following an Indecent Act investigation.  St. Thomas police received numerous complaints of a man walking on the street, exposing himself to passersby.  The male was charged with Indecent Act, arrested and later released with a future court date.  ST23011607

 

Barricaded Person

Early Saturday afternoon officers responded to what was described as a family dispute in the city’s west end.  When officers arrived on scene, they learned that a 32 year old man had barricaded himself in the homes washroom and threatened harm to anyone that may enter.  Officers were able to breach the door and apprehend the male under the Mental Health Act.  ST2300623

 

Construction Equipment Damaged

A citizen using the city’s walking trail contacted police on Saturday after observing 2 male youths near construction equipment at Elm Street and Parkside Drive.  The citizen reported seeing the youths around a backhoe parked on the construction site and soon after hearing glass breaking.  On further inspection, a mirror had been broken off the side of the backhoe.  Anyone that may have knowledge of this incident or may have witnessed the incident is asked to contact police with details.  ST23011671

 

Stolen Vehicle

St. Thomas Police are investigating the theft of a Pickup truck from the city’s east end.  The owner of the vehicle reported their 2018 Grey Dodge Ram stolen, sometime between Friday at 10 am and Saturday at 7pm.  ST23011654
