Media Release for Saturday July 1st, 2023

Stolen Bicycle:

On Friday June 30, 2023 the victim attended the police station to advise that his Hard Rock orange and black bicycle was stolen from the bike rack at a business at 1063 Talbot Street.    The bike was taken between 10:30am and 10:40am.  If anyone has seen or has located the bicycle please contact STPS at 519-631-1224 or Crime Stoppers.  ST23011531

Stolen E-Bike:

On Friday June 30th, 2023 the victim contacted police to advise that his E-bike was stolen from his place of work on Elm Street in St. Thomas.  The E-bike is described as a Red Daymak Easy Rider. If located please contact the St. Thomas Police Service.  ST23011535

Warrant Arrest:

St. Thomas police have arrested a 33 year old female on the strength of 2 bench warrants.  The female was held in custody for a bail hearing on Saturday. St23011573

Stolen Bicycle:

On Friday June 30, 2023 the victim contacted police to report her bicycle was stolen from a business on Talbot street.  She advised that her bike was take from in front of the business around 9:30pm.  The bike is described as a orange and blue Schwinn mountain bike.  If located please contact STPS or Crime Stoppers. Arrest for possession of stolen property:

On Friday June 30, 2023 police were flagged down by a concerned citizen who advised they observed a male riding a bicycle that had been stolen last year.  Police located the 54 year old male and arrested him for possession of stolen property as the bike was indeed stolen from a business in November of 2022.  The male was transported to the STPS and was released with a future court date.  St23011598
