Assault Causing Bodily Harm
A 48 year old St. Thomas resident has been arrested after we attended a southside business last night. Just before 10 p.m. we were called to the location by staff who had concerns for an individual who was bleeding. Upon arrival, officers learned an argument between the accused and their partner had turned physical. Through further investigation and learning the details of the argument, police formed grounds to charged the 48 year old with Assault and Assault Cause Bodily Harm. Breach of Recognizance
Two St. Thomas residents have been charged after we were called to a disturbance on Thursday afternoon. Around 1:00 p.m. police attended an address just north of Talbot Street and located the parties involved. Through investigation, officers learned the two individuals are currently on conditions to not communicate with each other. As a result, a 40 year old St. Thomas resident and 46 year old St. Thomas resident were both charged with one count of Breach of Recognizance and transported to police headquarters. Theft
A $70 bottle of rum has been reported stolen from a retail store on Talbot Street. On Thursday, we were called to the store to investigate the report of an unknown individual failing to pay for the item. CCTV of the incident is available and being reviewed. ST25015975
A 37 year old St. Thomas resident has been charged with one count of Theft under $5,000 after we were called to a retail store on Talbot Street. On Thursday evening, we attended the area of 1063 Talbot Street and located the accused who had been identified by store staff as the person responsible in a theft that had just occurred. The 37 year old was transported to police headquarters, processed and released on an undertaking with a future court date. ST25015989
A 50 year old London resident has been charged with Theft under $5,000 after being identified as the person responsible in a shoplifting incident that occurred on August 31st, where a $450 vacuum had been stolen from a retail store on Talbot Street. A warrant for arrest has been requested. ST25015992
$229 of merchandise has been reported stolen from a retail store on Talbot Street. On Thursday, loss prevention staff reported that theft occurred on August 30th. CCTV of the incident was provided to police and reviewed. A photo of the suspect is below.
